Festus Keyamo, spokesman of the APC presidential campaign council, says Pa Ayo Adebanjo is hostile towards Bola Tinubu.
On Monday, Pa Adebanjo endorsed Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, as Afenifere’s candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
Pa Adebanjo said for the sake of equity the presidency should go to the south-east.
Reacting to Pa Adebanjo’s position on Tuesday, Keyamo said the Afenifere leader is propelled by a long-held animosity against Tinubu, APC presidential candidate.
He said the group endorsed former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, but Jonathan lost the election.
