Air force drops more bombs on Bello Turji’s hide-out

A fighter jet belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has launched a fresh attack on the enclave Bello Turji,  Zamfara bandit leader.

According to Daily Trust, the notorious bandit narrowly escaped aerial bombardment on his home, on Saturday afternoon.

A source reportedly told Daily Trust that the fighter jet returned to the area around 9am on Monday, dropping at least two bombs.

Bandits suspected to be from Turji’s camp launched assault in travellers along Sokoto-Gusau road in Shinkafi, Monday morning.

A resident of Shinkafi, Murtala Wadatau, said the armed men blocked the road at Kwanar Badarawa and Birnin Yero.
